Dearest Dad,

GBY! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! I just had to write & tell you how thrilled I was to receive your replies to my letter yesterday! WOW! I never expected something like that! (Dad: Neither did I!) I was so encouraged to read that wonderful message straight from the Lord about Hepsibah‚ & immediately read not only the two verses but both chapters in their entirety, Isaiah 62 & 54.

THERE WERE LOTS OF OTHER ENCOURAGING VERSES IN THERE, even a promise about the children: "All thy children shall be taught of the Lord & great shall be the peace of thy children!" PTL! (Dad: Amen!) A couple of verses above the one about Hepsibah it says:

"AND THOU SHALT BE CALLED BY A NEW NAME, which the mouth of the Lord shall name"—& you, God's Mouthpiece, named it! PTL! The next verse too is really beautiful: "Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, & a royal diadem in the hand of thy God!" The meaning in Hebrew of Hepsibah is "My delight is in her" & I really pray I can live up to such a beautiful name! (Dad: Amen!—You do!)

IT WAS SO ENCOURAGING TO ME, DAD! I felt just like Mary must have felt when the Angel Gabriel appeared to her & told her that God had chosen her to bear His Son!—Such an honour that the Lord would send me that special little message! (Dad: Amen!)

THANK YOU ALSO FOR THE MESSAGE YOU SENT VIA PETER THAT YOU HAVE MY PICTURE ON YOUR DESK & you're praying for me. I know your prayers are working wonders & helping me so much! I felt like the Enemy was really trying to get me down & discouraged, but I'm not gonna give in to all of that‚ but gonna fight & make it‚ Lord helpin' me! (Dad: Amen!) And then it was such a victory to receive your encouraging words! Thanks so much, Dad!

I READ A HEAVY VERSE IN MATTHEW 10 THIS MORNING TOO: "He that loveth son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me!"—& that really spoke to my heart too, PTL! I also looked up the reference you gave me about Jus, that he's joined to his idols‚ & it's Hosea 4:17: "Ephraim is joined to idols, let him alone." It reminded me of the other things you've received on him before about covetousness, which is idolatry! (Dad: Amen.)

I LOVE YOU & PRAY YOU'RE HAVING A GOOD DAY & FEELING WELL! You're constantly in all of our prayers here & we love & need you so so much! (Dad: Thanks!) Love Always, Your Sal.

(Dad: We love & need you too! GBY!—Thanks!—Love, D. 19/12/80.)
